Shroozy Stage is free, open-source software released under the MIT licence. There is no account to create, nothing to buy, and no service running behind it. The licence is the agreement that matters — this page just explains what it means in practice.

1. The licence governs

You may use, copy, modify and redistribute Shroozy Stage, including commercially, under the terms of the MIT licence shipped with the source. If anything on this page appears to conflict with that licence, the licence wins.

2. Provided “as is”

As the licence states, the software comes with no warranty of any kind. It is a hobby-scale creative tool, not a production system. Nobody is liable for lost work, lost footage, unexpected AI provider charges, or damage arising from its use. Keep your own backups of anything you care about.

3. Your fal.ai account is yours

The AI features call fal.ai directly using an API key that you supply. That is a relationship between you and fal — you agree to fal's own terms, you are billed by fal, and you are responsible for what you spend. Shroozy Stage has no server, takes no cut, and never receives your key. Deleting the app does not cancel anything at fal; manage that from your fal dashboard.

4. What you make

Scenes, takes and rendered footage you create are yours. You are responsible for making sure what you generate is lawful and that you have the rights to any reference images or likenesses you feed in. Do not use the tool to create material that is illegal, that impersonates a real person deceptively, or that depicts a real person without their consent.

5. Third-party components

The project bundles Unity packages, fonts and libraries under their own licences. These are listed in NOTICE.md and are not covered by the MIT grant above.

6. Name and mark

The MIT licence covers the code, not the branding. The Shroozy name and mark are not licensed for use in forks or derivative products — please ship those under your own name. See NOTICE.md.

7. No support commitment

There is no guaranteed support, uptime, or release schedule. Bug reports and pull requests are welcome on GitHub, but nothing here is promised.

8. Changes

This page may change as the project does. The authoritative history is the repository itself.
